They are something much more unique in Greece, pistachio trees.
These pistachio trees fuel small farmers both internally as a snack during pistachio season, and monetarily—because it’s Greece, everyone has olive trees(they’re classic) but not everyone has a nut tree.
But you could. You could be the only one in your town to say that YOU adopted a pistachio tree from a farm just outside of Athens.
And how cool would that be? Talk about first date opening lines, or how to break the ice as an awkward work party.

Nikos is the one you should be really thinking about because he’s the superhero who is up every day before the sun to make sure the farm is okay, and he can be at the farmer’s market to deliver quality products like eggs, pistachios, olive oil and honey.
He’s the fountain and the calm in the family. He’s a dedicated farmer who loves his farm, loves the gym, and loves the earth—oh, and he would tell you that he is a winter swimmer if you ever met. He’s really proud of that.

Hi! This is me. I didn’t actually take my husband’s last name, but I wanted to look uniformed. I didn’t take it because it’s not custom in Greece, and I’ve already made quite a name for myself through my careers, and my books (you can google me). Plus, honestly? All of the paperwork?
I’m the creator of the family, of course, I am a woman so naturally, it is what I do. I’m behind the computer (and sometimes getting my hands dirty at the farm) to really continue to build what Nikos has laid the foundation for.
I love my husband, and I love the earth and the ancient wisdom of Greece, so really, this is the perfect job for me.
