There is a huge misconception that Athens is only the Acropolis.

Of course—you’re going to see one of the grandest monuments in the entire world. However, that’s not the only thing to see.

Athens is being called ‘The New Berlin’ because of its vibrancy, aliveness and feeling of belonging.

There are streets that are filled with modern art, politically charged messages and beautiful shops, while just down the road it’s landmarks made thousands of years ago and filled with deep rooted history.

It’s an amazing city, and one of my favourites in the entire world.

Athens is also how to an amazing selection of foods and interesting concepts for cafés, restaurants and small tavernas.

Whatever you do, when you book your trip, do not come just for the Acropolis, make sure you allow yourself to get lost in the Athenian streets.
