Athens: Tales of the Underworld Night Walk

When the sun goes down, the creatures come out.

That happens everywhere. But not everywhere actually has ancient tombs of soldiers, or rivers that gods walked to find souls of the departed—only Athens does.

We start our experience at Keramikos, the ancient graveyard(amongst over things). Here you will be introduced to the beliefs of Greeks when it comes to the dead. Then we will head towards the Ancient Agora.

If you’ve walked our Gods, Heroes & Acropolis View: Mythical Athens Experience, you’ve seen it in the day and know it by a hub for trade, democracy and a place that held shrines to all 12 gods. But what you don’t know is all of the material we’ve found that indicate curses, spells and other dark magic had gone on there.

After exploring this, we head to Hadrians Library and tell you some secrets we’ve found out (not for the blogs, sorry!) After this, we walk by the Roman Agora and up into Anafiotika.

Through this stunning and historic neighbourhood, we find a secret hidden path that leads us up to the slopes of the Acropolis, where we share more spooky facts, talks about the dead and who is actually responsible for the word “panic.” Spoiler: it’s the god pan.

We weave and speak, then we end up at the Odeon, an ancient theatre still used to today, but very haunted yet still magical. In this space, we read from our handmade oracle deck to give you a message from the spirits beyond.

Joining us on this magic dark journey only takes a moment by booking here.

If you can’t wait and want a message from beyond, your oracle deck awaits.
